Hello, and welcome back everyone! Today we are going to be talking about something a little bit different today. We're going to be talking about the Death Note Trailer which was launched earlier today. And well, basically, I am a bit concerned. I read the manga, watched the anime and the Japanese films based on the franchise and I'm just not sure if Netflix can pull off a decent live action movie version of this series and I kinda hope I'm wrong. But the truth of the matter is that this series is just too deep to be respectfully shortened to movie length. Check my video linked below for my full thoughts.

My Thoughts on Giant Squid Studio´s ABZÛ

ABZÛ is the first game of Giant Squid Studios, which is led by Matt Nava who was the art director for award winning games Journey and Flower and you can clearly see the artistic influence these previous games have on this title. Personally, I think that this game is an amazing although simple game, which manages to capture your heart without a single line of dialogue and it's those type of visual cues that I find are not only intriguing but rare in modern gaming.
In the game you not only explore the depths of the ocean but you get a chance to meet known, rare and even extinct sea life as you solve puzzles and swim around. According to Giant Squid Studios on their website: ¨The name references a concept from the oldest mythologies; it is the combination of the two ancient words AB, meaning ocean, and ZÛ, meaning to know. ABZÛ is the ocean of wisdom¨.
And that's just what this game is, with its vast category of marine and sea life I found myself discovering creatures I had never seen before much less heard of. This game takes you by the hand and shows you the vast and intense depths of the ocean in a way I have never seen in any other ocean based game. I know, i'm being redundant but I simply cannot get over how amazingly gorgeous this game is and yet it´s visuals are nowhere near as intriguing as its soundtrack created by Austin Wintory which takes you all the more deeper into the vast ocean levels of the game.
All in all I cannot begin to explain to you how amazing this game is it's something you have to experience yourself and it's definitely one of those games that's too amazing to miss. It´s available not only for Playstation 4, but for XBox One and Steam. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out now!
And to catch a sneaky peak come on over to my youtube channel and watch my livestream playing ABZÛ. And I recently made my twitch account please come follow me there and I look forward to seeing you guys there for my first Twitch Livesteam and also you can now join the ranks of the Sailor Squad a donate to help improve this channel either by clicking here or on the Panda🐼 in the upper right hand side of this blog.

Emily Wants to Play and So do I
Hello and welcome today we are going to talk about a game that I livestreamed recently, Emily wants to play. It´s an indie horror survival game made by Shawn Hitchcock who drew on his fear´s and ended up with a game that is outright horrifying. Emily, is a ghost of a mentally unstable little girl, and she´s the main antagonist who will go after you to kill you. Your goal is to survive as long as possible so, you can collect different objects and tapes which are hidden around the house. It´s truly a great jump scare game, but fair warning it´s a game that will have you screaming literally every ten minutes. While I was playing this game I was amazed that it was made by one man and what's even cooler is that Shawn is making a sequel simply called Emily wants to Play 2 which will be released sometime this year, can I say hyped?

My thoughts on Pac-man 256
So seriously I have a strong addiction to Pac-Man. Pac-Man was the first video game I ever played as a kid I started playing it when I was 5 in an old movie theater that my family used to go to a lot and I still have fond memories of going to see movies and playing Pac-Man. It's something that was always in the backdrop of my childhood weather I was playing it in that old movie theater or with friends at the pinball museum or in an old ice cream shop it was a game that just always was there. And to this day whenever I hear the Pac-Man music I just can´t help but smile.
Coming out of the nostalgia a bit there´s a new or rather newish Pac-Man game out that's available for ps4, Xbox, android and desktop, called Pac-Man 265 and I'm addicted to it. It's basically your same old Pac-Man board but it goes on forever until you die. But with practice that one life is all you'll need to beat that elusive high score.
In this game you get a ton of ghost. You have the original ghost, Blinky (red), Pinky (pink), Inky (blue) and Clyde (orange) but also you get Spunky (Grey), Sue (purple), and Funky (green) and Glitchy (Changes color). And each of these ghost have different patterns and mannerisms. Blinky will go after the player. Pinky will go either vertically or horizontally to chase the player. Clyde will keep going down to the bottom of the board and Inky just circles a certain part of the map while Sue will move slowly in a horizontal line to try and keep the player from progressing. Now Sue is maybe the easiest to deal with simplest and slowest pacman ghost you´ll deal with in the game and then there's Spunky who will wake up and chase the player for a few seconds until falling asleep and I can tell you Spunky is maybe the worst out of all of the ghost because of the fact that he´s grey he blends in really well with the black background.
Then there´s maybe the most exciting aspect of this game are the power up, all of which you can unlock different levels for by simply collecting the gold or orange coins as you can find while you're playing. (Here are the many different power ups you can unlock. There are over 20 different powerups my personal favorites are the Cherry power up where you creates a radius around Pac-Man that turns ghosts into cherries and the Giant Pac-man power up which makes pac man grow and enables you to squash enemy ghost.
Laser
Shoots a laser that toasts ghosts
Freeze
Slows all ghost movement
Bomb
Touch a ghost to trigger an explosion
Giant Pac-Man
Grows and can squish ghosts
Tornado
Summons a tornado that chases ghosts
Stealth
Ghosts cannot see or harm Pac-Man
Fire Pac-Man
will leave a fiery trail
Trap
Lays traps that catch ghosts
Magnet
Nearby items are attracted to Pac-Man
Pac-Men
Summons clones of Pac-Man that hunt ghosts
Shatter
Summons stalacmites. Smash them for points.
Pyro
Fire spreads in all directions
Twinado
Summon two tornadoes that chase ghosts
Optics
Lasers bend around corners
Boom
Touching ghosts triggers mini-explosions
Regen
Pac-Dots will regenerate
Radar
This power-up creates a radar-like blade
circling around Pac-Man.
Any Ghost that touches the blade will die
Cherries
This power-up creates a radius around Pac-Man
that turns ghosts into cherries.
Sonar
Creates a radius
where ghost are pushed away
All in all it's a great game and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a little dose of nostalgia in their lives. What do you think of Pac-man 256 do you love it? Hate it? Leave a comment down below and if you enjoyed this article you´ll love my livestreams of the game which you can watch below.

My Thoughts on No Man´s Sky
When No Man's Sky was first announced it sparked the inner child and imagination of gamers the world over and I was no different. The graphics and gameplay seemed amazing, all of the planets seemed unique and rich with both plant and animal life and it seemed like an adventure that I and the entire world wanted to go on.
That being said, Hello Games and their game, No Man's Sky was marketed in such a way that it let the consumers create the product expectations. Which would later lead to major disappointments and blame laid squarely on the shoulders of Sean Murray. Now, many people blame Mr. Murray, saying that he outright lied about the games content and whereas I can genuinely understand where people are coming from I don't feel like they're being really fair.
I mean who hasn't gotten excited about a project that they're doing and blow it out of proportion, or simply taken on more work than they could possibly handle due to excitement. I mean I know I have.
Sure, Mr. Murray shouldn't have said most of what he did until everything was 100% certain but I feel that it was a mixture of both his excitement and wanting his game to be the best it could possibly be. It seems to me he wanted to implement all of the new ideas coming at him and simply couldn't due to time restraints.
That being said, I think Sony deserves the blame more than Mr. Murry simply because they should have provided a PR person for him to promote the game. Instead of putting a man with little to no experience at the helm and throwing him and Hello Games under the bus when it backfired.
I think that the reason, the real reason No Man's Sky was pushed out the way it originally was with almost no feature and wonky spaceship battles was that Sony was pushing Hello Games to do so. Now, I have no evidence of this but it's what makes the most sense to me, and it's something that's been done in the past.
If you go back and you watch the interviews and if you go over the story in game you can see quite clearly that Murray, and his team at Hello Games, has a very idealistic and naive sense of the world. So, in my mind I think that for the most part he really thought that he and his team would be able to implement all of the game aspects he promised. However, when Sony, their parent company came knocking at the door demanding the game it simply wasn't ready, but they had to deliver.
So instead of being honest with his fanbase (which maybe he couldn´t be due to Sony) about the state of the game, which totally could have saved his reputation in the moment. Murray, and his company, immediately set to work on the Foundation Update which I have been playing. And honestly the update is amazing. I just wonder what would have happened had they been given more time.
Murray should have been upfront but my guess is that he really thought they would be able to accomplish everything it just sort of fell through. But, I think he and his company learned the lesson because when they launched the the foundation update he said he didn't want to say anything until it wasn't 100% certain.
And now they´re currently looking for a writers, QA testers, and programmers and if you have experience in any of these fields and want to work for Hello Games visit http://www.hellogames.org/2016/12/were-hiring/. I would have loved to see this happen before I'm glad to see it's happening now.
I was a bit annoyed at first with the game and its many bugs at launch but this new update has me hopeful and ready to play more No Man's Sky. What do you think of No Man´s Sky and Hello Games? Do you agree with what I said? Disagree? Please leave a comment down below. You can also check out my livestream that I did playing No Man's Sky, down below
