Tiana Built an Empire 👑 My Favorite Modern Disney Princess!🐸
And then just when things start looking like they're going to work out... bam! Frog. Boom. Amphibian. One second she’s chasing her dream, next second she’s dodging flies and hopping around with a dude that has the work ethic of a couch potato. I mean, I’d be mad too!
But what I love about Tiana is her no-nonsense attitude. She’s driven, focused, and a literal queen of the hustle. However she’s also a little too serious sometimes. Like, girl, it’s okay to enjoy the ride! Then there's Naveen, our charming but lazy prince, who helps her relax but honestly, his job before this movie was just chilling, and in return she helps him realize that being “rich and useless” isn’t actually a personality.
And don’t get me started on the Shadow Man. When he popped up offering Tiana everything she ever wanted, I was holding my breath like I just realized I forgot to hit “save” on a big editing project but Tiana didn’t fall for that black magic, unlike someone else we know.. *cough cough* Ariel. Tiana realized that all the success in the world meant nothing if she couldn’t share it with the one person who made her heart leap... or ribbit. Too soon? In the end, she got it all: love, her restaurant, and yeah probably some killer Yelp reviews.

Disney's Cinderella Healing Trauma with Kindness and Sparkles✨Why Cinderella is the most underrated classic era disney princess
Hello and welcome back! I am so tired of the Cinderella slander. You know, the whole “she just waited around
for a man to save her and married a prince” narrative? Like… no. The people who say this are either a few
crayons short of a full package or have memory loss worse than Dory from Finding Nemo.
Let’s be real if you haven’t watched this movie in a while, you’re probably forgetting just how much trauma
Cinderella went through. From the very start, it’s clear that Lady Tremaine was a raging narcissist. She didn’t
just pit her daughters against each other; she made Cinderella's life harder simply because she could.
Now put yourself in Cinderella’s shoes. Actually, don’t. They’re glass. You’ll get blisters.
But seriously her mother’s already passed away, then her dad dies too, and the next thing she knows,
she’s in a reality show called “So You Think You Can Suffer?”
But despite all that, Cinderella is kind, caring, and somehow not completely feral.
Less than 10 minutes into the movie, Jaq tells her that a new mouse is caught in a trap. What does she do?
Does she say, “Ugh, not my problem”? No. She instantly rushes to help him, gives him a name Gus, gives him
clothes, and basically welcomes him into the family like he’s her long-lost rodent cousin. Honestly, the girl’s got
more compassion than a therapy dog convention.
And let’s talk about Lucifer, the original grumpy cat. Even though Cinderella clearly doesn’t like him because
he’s basically hunting her mouse friends like it’s an episode of Tom & Jerry, she still tells Bruno to try and get
along with him.
Then when the royal invitation to the ball arrives, Lady Tremaine pulls the classic “Oh sure, you can go…
if you finish all your chores and have something suitable to wear.” Translation: “You’re not going.”
She knew what she was doing. She piled on extra chores knowing full well Cinderella didn’t have time to stitch up
anything wearable. Honestly, Tremaine’s just lucky Cinderella wasn’t into petty revenge, because I would’ve
glitter-bombed her mail.
But plot twist: the mice and birds show up and repay Cinderella's kindness by making her a dress out of scraps,
ribbons, and love. And it is gorgeous. Seriously, Project Mouseway nailed it.
Then Cinderella shows up in her gorgeous pink dress, ready to go. She’s not even doing anything wrong just trying
to join the family and maybe dance with someone who isn’t emotionally unstable. And what happens? Anastasia
and Drizella rip her dress apart with the coaxing of Lady Tremaine.
And the fear in her eyes? That wasn’t just sadness. That was the look of someone who’s been gaslit, manipulated,
and broken down for years. That moment hurt more than stepping on a LEGO barefoot. Poor Cinderella broke and
in that moment with her last ounce of hope her fairy godmother appears like the magical grandma we all wish we
had, she waves her wand, and Cinderella finally gets her night of freedom. A new dress, glass slippers, pumpkin
Uber, she’s ready.
And the best part? She doesn’t even realize she’s dancing with the Prince. She’s not scheming. She’s not plotting.
She’s just genuinely chilling. Probably thinking, “Wow, this guy hasn’t insulted me or called me a servant!”
The next day, she’s just doing her thing serving breakfast, minding her business when Lady Tremaine mentions
that the Prince is looking for the girl from the ball. And Cinderella? She doesn’t faint. She doesn’t immediately run
out screaming “IT’S MEEEEE!” No. She’s humble. She listens. She holds onto hope.
So no, she didn’t wait for a prince to save her. Cinderella was a girl who endured unthinkable hardship, stayed kind,
and just wanted one night where she didn’t feel like the household punching bag. And through that kindness, hope,
and resilience, she found a better life.
It’s a beautiful story of survival, self-worth, and a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful thing you can be is
kind.
So if you haven’t lately, go watch Cinderella. It’s on Disney+. And if you’re still not convinced just remember that
her fairy godmother gave her a ball gown, but she earned her happy ending.
And on’t forget to leave a like, subscribe, and hit that bell to get notifications. And tell me which of Cinderella’s
dresses do you like more? The pink one or the silvery blue one? I personally love the pink one, handmade with
love and a dash of mousey friendship, but let me know down in the comments what you think.
And lastly, make sure to go check out my amazing husband’s channel, Cosas Para Tener. It’s a Spanish speaking
channel that does gaming how-tos, reviews, and more and well thank you for watching. I’ll see you next time have a magical day! Bye!
