In 2011 Editorial Aguilar launched in the magazine kiosk of Argentina DC Comics Superhero Collection (
DC Comics Superhéroes Figuras de Colección). And In 2017 the collection relaunched by
La Nacion (A newspaper from
Argentina) and Editorial Grijalbo.The first collection was made of lead and the magazines were longer and included a chronology of the DC Universe. In the relaunch the figures were made of Metallic Resin and lacked the chronology among other accessories of the figures. Both collections are hand painted however, I have had many tell me that the older collection was painted better and I kinda agree.
This was the first collection we (my husband and I) bought together and it was my first introduction to the culture around magazine kiosk. I thought and still think it's cool. And this collection always makes me smile when I see it on our shelf´s. But back on track, the first collection from Grijalbo had 80 figures in total and they were: Batman,
